The McClung House

The McClung House was once one of the finest homes in Winona. When I photographed in 1971-72 it was long abandoned. I was told by relatives it had been the home of the town banker who experienced financial difficulties, left town and returned some years later, moving into a smaller house, which he rarely left. The house has been rehabilitated, restored to its former glory, and is presently occupied.
