Oslo
In August 1986 I made my first visit to Oslo, Norway. This was the inaugural year of the Oslo Jazz Festival and the organizing committee of the festival thought it might make sense to have a US producer help with future events. We had come highly recommended by two of the most respected figures in Norwegian jazz, Randi Hultin and Stein Ovrebo. It worked out and we assisted the festival in various ways for the next twenty-five years. When when not attending concerts or attending to musical chores I often wandered the city and took photographs along the way, primarily capturing the beautiful color of Oslo in August.
