Oslo Jazz Festival 1997

On August 6, 1997, almost 90-year-old Benny Carter played a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. The next day he boarded an airplane in Los Angeles and flew to Copenhagen, transferred to an Oslo flight, landed at Fornebu about 11:00 in the morning of August 8, his 90^th birthday, rested for a while and then played a remarkable concert that evening in the Oslo Konserthus.
