Tompkins Square Park

The largest park within the boundary of the Lower East Side, Tompkins Square Park has a long and storied history. In 1986, at the beginning of this project, it was a bit rough around the edges. As the years have passed it has become one of the loveliest parks in New York City, particularly around the edges.
